Poultry Show: The Union Fair will be hosting an Educational Poultry display in our Poultry Barn. (26)

What would a fair be without the animals?

From their earliest beginnings, county fairs were where local farmers would bring their best stock to be judged against their neighbors for bragging rights and trade stock. That tradition continues today and you can join in.

Why not take a break from the other activities at the fair and enjoy watching either a sheep or beef show to see who wins the blue ribbon and bragging rights this year? Also, you can take a walk through the barns and chat with the farmers to learn about where your food comes from, how much milk a dairy cow can produce in a day and the difference between a steer and oxen.

Don’t miss the chance to wander through our newly refurbished poultry barn and vote on your favorite bird. Enjoy spending time with our animals while at the fair.

While you are traveling through our livestock areas, please notice our white hand sanitizer stations. After you have visited with our animals, please use hand sanitizer. We care about your health.
